How quickly can our order be with us?
Please allow 7 working days for products that have been printed with your artwork,
and for products custom made with your text instructions.
School merit badges and committee badges are usually held in stock for despatch asap.
If we have to make badges to fufill your order, this will normally only take two or three days.
Family crest products normally take about 5 days to despatch.
I need my order in a rush! Is there any way to expedite my order?
You can speed up the ordering process by selecting the option 'Express order and delivery'
under shipping options in the shopping cart.
This will ensure your order is given top priority throughout processing (basically, you are
jumping the queue!). Express orders sent DPD 24 hr (signed for) when ready for despatch,
instead of our normal delivery service Royal Mail 1st class (not signed for).
This option is available to UK customers only.
What are the carriage costs?
Carriage is charged at cost and will be between £2.50 - £26.90 for UK mainland.
We use Royal Mail first class service for smaller orders as standard, allow 1-2 days in transit.
An economy 2nd class option is now available. Allow 2-7 days in transit for 2nd class shipping.
Larger orders are sent DPD next day service when ready for despatch. This is a 'signed for'
Express order & delivery option is also available (see above).
For overseas addresses we use Royal Mail air mail service for smaller packets, and DHL or
TNT for larger consignments. The cost is calculated when items are added to the cart.
Do you ship to non-UK addresses?
Yes we are happy to ship orders worldwide. Carriage charges are weight based and will be
calculated and added at checkout when you tell us where you are based.
We will ship the goods ordered with a commercial invoice and customs declaration on the packet,
but the payment of any applicable duties and taxes is the responsibility of the receiver.
Please check your country's tariffs and monetary value limits when importing from the UK.
I'm not sure if the artwork we have is suitable.
If you do not have suitable artwork, or are not sure, please contact us by email to discuss
your requirements. Our design studio can prepare ready to use artwork for you from basic
sources such as a letterhead or cloth badge, or even a rough sketch.
We can also edit existing artwork to suit your needs, such as adding text around a crest,
or adding colours to a design.
Please visit our artwork guidelines page first, but if you are unsure please send what you
have and we can offer advice.
Are there any artwork or origination fees?
A charge is only made if your artwork is not suitable, and we will advise you by email
of this amount before proceeding with your order, We charge a one-off fee, usually
£6.50 - £20, depending on the complexity, for studio editing services.
We have a logo but I need to add/edit some text. Can you do this for me?
Yes, that's not a problem. Email your instructions and we can supply a PDF layout
for approval. If you require a particular font please let us know, otherwise we will
use our standard recommended font which is ARIAL BOLD.
I have ordered before and now we need another batch. Do I send artwork?
No, we keep all designs on file for future reference and for your convenience so
there is no need to re-send artwork. Simply choose the option ' repeat order'
when placing your order.
Please quote job title (wording on the badge/keyring etc) when re-ordering.
Online ordering questions.
We prefer not to use online ordering/payment. Can we still order from you?
Yes, just send an email with your artwork attached to [email protected]badgecompany.co.uk.
We will need this info - Your name and your Organisation's name, a delivery address
for your order, items & quantities required, and the date your items are needed by.
How do we pay for an order not placed online?
We will email a pro-forma invoice for payment and you can pay this either by credit
or debit card over the phone, by bacs, or by cheque. We are unable to despatch
goods until payment has cleared unless you have an approved credit account.
30 day credit accounts are available for subsequent orders on application.
We are a School with an official purchase order. Can we order online & pay later?
Yes, we accept online orders from Schools with official purchase orders. Just select
the 'CHECKOUT' button on the shopping cart page. Fill out your billing and delivery
address details on the checkout page and select the 'CLICK TO PAY ON ACCOUNT'
button. We will send an invoice with your goods, which must be paid within 30 days.
Sorry, this option is only available to UK based Schools & Colleges with official orders.
Badgecompany.co.uk uses Paypal to process payments, do I need a paypal account?
No, you can pay by debit or debit card you do not need a paypal account.
Custom made items questions.
What is the minimum order quantity for badges?
The minimum order for badges printed with your own artwork is 25.
If you need a smaller amount of badges you can order bar, round, shield or star
badges with your own text.
Can you make badges in any shape or size requested?
No. We only supply badges in the sizes and shapes shown on this website.
We have 34 different badge back sizes, shapes and colours to choose from.
We want to buy both pin badges and keyrings with our logo design on.
Do we get a better price?
Yes, you can mix badges, keyrings, cufflinks and other items and receive
the quantity discount for all items combined.
Family Crest Products questions.
I wanted to order a family crest product but my Surname does not appear
in your database. Can I still order?
Yes, just email us the best possible artwork you have and we can work from that.
If your artwork is not of suitable quality we may have to make an editing charge,
but you will be advised of this before we proceed with production.
PDF version will be sent to you for approval of the layout.
Do the quantity discounts apply if I order items with different Surnames?
Yes, you can order different names and we will still apply the discount.
